Scripture consitutes our sufficient rule of faith and conduct. They base our belief in God. Therefore, the statements of fundamental truths that are extracted from the Holy Book -The Bible- are taken as a basis of our faith and Christian fellowship. The phraseology used in this statement do not have it by inspired, but the truths that are expressed through them, we consider essential for a complete Christian ministry.

 

Las Sagradas Escrituras consituyen nuestra suficiente regla de fe y conducta. En ellas fundamentamos nuestra creencia en Dios. Por lo tanto, las declaraciones de verdades fundamentales que siguen, extraídas del Libro Sagrado -La Biblia- son tenidas por base de nuestra fe y comunión cristiana. La fraseología que usamos en esta declaración no la tenemos por inspirada, pero las verdades que en ellas expresamos, las consideramos escenciales para un completo ministerio cristiano.

 

This statement does not contain all the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, but if those articles of faith required on which to base our Christian fellowship, consistent with divine revelation. Therefore, we believe in:

 

The Holy Scriptures

 

The Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, are truly inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings and are the supreme and final authority for faith and practice. We understand that God influence inspiration - Holy Spirit exerted on each writer of Scripture without impeding the participation of the human intellect in the communication of sacred truth.

 

The Only One True God

 

It has been revealed as the Almighty Creator of the Universe, who manifests as "I am", is in itself the Eternal. In his revelation, being a UNIT of people, comes as ONE, though exists eternally in three persons, namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, a TRINITY. This grandios and merciful Deity consists of three people, hence we talk about three distinct persons and only one true God. Both the word trinity as people are not in the Scriptures, but are terms which implicit in it and that the Christian Church adopted to define the knowledge of God, and the same are in harmony with the Word of God. When we speak of the Trinity we are reffering to a composition of the Deity in three persons.

 

Distinction and Relationship in the Deity

 

In the New Testament we find the incarnation of the Son in Jesus of Nazareth and the Scripture says that this miracle is the grace of the Holy Spirit. Evidencing this, that God is one, but also triune, giving in the relationship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as can be seen in the baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

The Trinity

 

The Father

 

Father - Designates the first person of the Trinity. Name that describes God as the originator of all things including humans. The Maker is disclosed in a relationship of love to their children, men. This expression of God's fatherly love his fulfilled when he sets to deliver his Son Jesus Christ as sacrifice on the cross for the salvation of man that constitutes those who by faith accept him are "children of God". Names of the Father includes: Jehovah (Yahweh), Adonai (Lord), The Shaddai (Almighty), The Holy, The Blessed (The Eloyn) and Pater (Father).

 

The Son

 

It is the second person of the Trinity. His divine and eternal nature, is the only begotten of the Father, but as to His human nature is the Son of Man. It is God "manifest in the flesh". He was sent by the Father in order to redeem man from sin. He died for our sins, was buried and rose in victory over death. He ascended into heaven where He intercedes for us. Imminently come to rapture the saints to take them to the Father's house. Before birth, the angel Gabriel announced that the fruit of the womb of Mary would be called Jesus because He would save His people from sin. On the cross He fulfilled the mission indicated by his name, since to save man from sin and atonement requires atonement which means death. Throughout his life he lived according to his name, he was always the Savior. Name given to the Son includes: Lord, Emmanuel (God with us), Son of God, Son of Man, Christ or Messiah, Son of David (actual genealogical line).

 

The Holy Spirit

 

The Holy Spirit is a divine person he co-existential and is consubstantial with the Father and the Son. Convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. Regenerates the believers, dwells in them and strengthens them. Enables them to develop Christian character. He sanctifies, baptizes and seals them for the day of redemption. Strengthens and guides them to a devotional life and Christian service.

 

The Church

 

The church is the New Testament institution, founded by Christ through his vicar sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. It is composed of those who are the children of God by receiving Christ as Savior. As a divine institution, its permanence is guaranteed, despite the attacks of the enemy. The Church is made up of the saints on earth (the visible part), and all those dead in Christ from Calvary to the rapture of those who are saved. The Church is in its human expression a wider ethnic composition of a universal extension.

Las Sagradas Escrituras

 

La Biblia, los sesenta y seis libros del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, son verdaderamente inspirados por Dios, sin error en sus escritos originales y que son la autoridad suprema y final de fe y conducta. Entendemos por inspiración la influencia que Dios - Espíritu Santo ejerció sobre cada escritor de las Sagradas Escrituras sin impedir la participación del intelecto humano en la comunicacion de la verdad sagrada.

 

El Dios único y verdadero

 

Se ha revelado como el Todopoderoso Creador del Universo, quien al manifestarse como "Yo Soy", es en sí mismo el Eterno. En su revelación, al ser una UNIDAD de personas, se presenta como UNO, aunque existe eternamente en tres personas, a saber: el Padre, el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo, una TRINIDAD. Esta grandios y misericordiosa Deidad está compuesta por tres personas, de ahi que hablemos de Tres Personas distintas y un solo Dios verdadero. Tanto el vocablo trinidad como personas no se encuentran en las Sagradas Escrituras, pero son términos que están implícitos en ella y que la Iglesia Cristiana los adoptó para definir su conocimiento de Dios, y los mismos guardan armonía con la Palabra de Dios. Cuando hablamos de la Trinidad nos estamos refiiriendo a la composición de la Deidad en tres personas.

 

Distinción y relación en la Deidad

 

En el Nuevo Testamento encontramos la encarnación del Hijo en Jesús de Nazareth y la Escritura afirma que ese milagro es obra y gracia del Espíritu Santo. Evidenciando esto, que Dios es uno, pero también trino, dándose en la relación de Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo, como puede comprobarse en el bautismo de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

 

La Trinidad

 

El Padre

 

Padre - Designa la primera persona de la Trinidad. Nombre que describe a Dios como el originador de todas las cosas y aún de los seres humanos. El Hacedor se da a conocer en una relación de amor para con sus hijos, los hombres. Esta expresión paternal de amor en Dios llega a su plenitud al entregar a Jesucristo su Hijo al sacrificio en la cruz para la salvación del hombre consituyendo a aquellos que mediante la fe le acepten, en "hijos de Dios". Nombres del Padre incluye: Jehová (Yahveh), Adonai (Señor), El Shaddai (Todopoderoso), El Santo, El Santísimo (El Eloyn) y Pater (Padre).

 

El Hijo

 

Es la segunda persona de la Trinidad. Su naturaleza es divina y eterna, es el unigénito del Padre; pero en cuanto a su naturaleza humana es el Hijo del Hombre. Es Dios "manifestado en carne". Fue enviado por el Padre con el propósito de redimir al ser humano del pecado. Murió por nuestras transgresiones, fue sepultado y resucitó en victoria sobre la muerte. Ascendió a los cielos donde intercede por nosotros. Vendrá de forma inminente para arrebatar a los santos para llevarlos a la casa del Padre. Antes de su nacimiento, el ángel Gabriel anunció que el fruto del vientre de María habría de llamarse Jesús, porque Él salvaría su pueblo de pecados. Sobre la cruz cumplió la misión indicada por su nombre, puesto que el salvar al hombre del pecado requiere expiación y la expiación implica muerte. Durante toda su vida vivió de acuerdo a su nombre; fue siempre el Salvador. Nombre dados al Hijo incluye: Señor, Emmanuel (Dios con nosotros), Hijo de Dios, Hijo del Hombre, Cristo o Mesías, Hijo de David (Línea genealógica real).

 

El Espíritu Santo

 

El Espíritu Santo es una persona divina, es consubstancial y coexistencial con el Padre y el Hijo. Convence al mundo de pecado, de justicia y de juicio. Regenera a los creyentes, habita en ellos y los fortalece. Los capacita para desarrollar el carácter cristiano. Los santifica, los bautiza y los sella para el dia de la redención. Fortalece la vida devocional y los guía al servicio cristiano.

 

La Iglesia

 

La iglesia es la institución del Nuevo Testamento, fundada por Cristo mediante su sacrificio vicario en la cruz del Calvario. La misma está compuesta por aquellos que se constituyen en hijos de Dios al recibir a Cristo como su Salvador. Como institucion divina, su permanencia está garantizada, a pesar de los ataques del enemigo. La Iglesia está compuesta por los santos que están en la tierra (la parte visible), y todos aquellos muertos en Cristo desde el Calvario hasta el rapto de los salvados. La Iglesia es en su expresión humana más amplia, una composición étnica de extensión universal.
